Each year Gloucestershire participates in the International 16 days of action against gender-based violence; starting on the 25th November (International day for the elimination of violence against women) and ending on 10th December (Human rights day).

For 2020, Gloucestershire will be running the theme of Young People.

We will look to educate and inform young people about Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence and how to access support for themselves and how they can help a friend.

We will also look to provide advice and guidance to parents on understanding abuse in teenage relationships, but also raising awareness of child to parent violence and how to access support.

Education events for professionals will also be made available to help them identify and respond effectively to domestic abuse and young people.
