A new campaign has been launched by the police together with Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Assault Centre (GRASAC).
The campaign encourages those who feel unsafe on a date to ask for support from bar staff using the ‘Ask for Angela’ code word.
Participating licensees have been briefed on the campaign. The campaign will begin in Gloucester and Cheltenham, and if successful, it will be rolled out across the county.
An ‘Ask for Angela’ poster and guidance for pubs and bar staff on the campaign can be downloaded here.
